Week 4 – Surprising start of 2009

Final report this year

Just a little report of a strange week here in Denmark.

The weather here has been quite cold since Christmas, but a few days with sun can make things happen.

A friend of mine was fishing a Fjord on Tuesday. And what a day, 12 seatrout landed. 7 Of the fish were over the minimum size so a great day at the water.

Another friend was fishing Thursday and he landed 13 fish between 42 and 64 cm and had a lot of strikes and fish following the spoon. So this really shows that you can have some excellent fishing even during the winter.

For the rest of the week no one got any fish but then again the weather turned back to normal grey winter weather.

I will be back with more if something happens here. Looking forward to the spring!
