Week 44Week 44 – Temperature is dropping further and further.

The Coast

This week has been a very bad one for me, no time for fishing at all. This should never happen again… Too much “quality time with the family”.

But anyway, the weather here has been quit cold the last week, so now the water temperature is starting to go down further and further so the fishing is still getting better and better here.

During the week I was talking to some fishermen in the shop and all of them were talking about some action along the coastline. Smaller fish as well as bigger fish were caught.

The smaller fish are very aggressive at the moment, they strike pretty much at every lure or fly shown to them. The bigger fish is mostly caught on the lures. I talked to one guy, he lost a seatrout close to 1 meter (!!!) on the fly after fighting it for more than 20 minutes. So the very big fish is out there.

Lets hope that the big fish will start to come closer to the coastline when the temperature drops even further down.

Tight lines for everybody.
