Week 42 – Oh yes!

Finally the fishing here is getting better. Now it seems like the bigger seatrouts start to strike more and more.

I received reports about seatrout on 4 and 3,5 kilo this week. Still also a lot of small seatrouts are caught.

I was fishing on Sunday together with Kasper and Jens in the area of Trelde. Kasper got 8 small seatrouts on spoon and sbirulino, Jens got 2 around 45 cm and a small one, all on fly. I got 3 small seatrouts on the fly. I took the 3 fish on 3 different fly patterns so I guess that the patterns really don’t matter that much at the moment. All of the fish we got struk really hard.

I was talking to one guy who had a day with a lot of action this week, 26 seatrouts in one day. 12 of the fish were between 40 and 56 cm. So if you find the right place you can have some excellent fishing.

So lets hope that this week will be the start of some nice fishing here for the weeks to come.

And remember: a bad day of fishing is still a lot better than a good day at the office!
