Week 37 – Everybody is talking about a lot of fish...

The fishing in the river has been quit strange this week. After a lot of rain and high water in week 36, the conditions should have been perfect in week 37.

Even though the water went down, the fishing was very difficult. There are still lots of fish in the river. You see them jumping and turning after the fly but they don’t take. So only few fish have been caught this week.

I got a nice little fish on Thursday evening and had 3 more rising to the fly.

Further I have made new flies again. I will try these out next week with some very nice new materials (pictures and patterns will come soon).

The Coast

The Coastline has been fishing ok. Everybody is talking about a lot of fish along the coast. But it is mainly smaller fish they see.

There is also still a lot of needlefish along the coast. Now the temperature is dropping the fishing will hopefully get even better now.
