Week 35 – Big surprise.

This week has been simply great!

Monday I was at Vejle å together with Ulrik, my friend. We fished the middle part of the river. After a few hours of fishing I had a fish rise to the fly two times… but it did not take the fly. Right after that, Ulrik hooked a nice fish. I went downstream to help him land the fish. 77 cm 5,6 kilo… What an incredible fish!

Tuesday another friend of mine fished the upper part of the river and he got a very big seatrout on the fly. 82 cm and 7,5 kilo. Hugh fish and new personal record for Johnny.

Wednesday I was at the middle part of the river again and within 2 hours of fishing I got 2 seatrout on 48 and 50 cm. So a nice evening at the river with some good action!

Thursday Ulrik fished the lower part of the river and this time he got a very nice seatrout on 5,5 kilo. So Ulrik had another great evening at the river.

Friday I was at the river again. Not too much action this evening, I saw 3 fish jumping but that was all. Sunday I saw no fish at all.

It was an incredible week on the river… 7,5 Kilo Seatrout!

For week 36 we will have a change in the weather again so this might bring some new fresh fish up to the river.

The Coast

A lot of fish between 40 and 50 cm have been caught this week. Two bigger fish were reported this week on 3,5 and 6 kilo in Vejle fjord.

Kolding fjord did also do pretty good this week, but mainly with smaller fish.

Lillebealt is still not doing too good. Only few reports with small fish came in.
