Week 21 – The weather change payed off. By Jesper Havshøi – Fish and Outdoor - Fredericia This week the fishing has been quit nice. Fish have been caught on most of the different locations around here. Vejle fjord has been fishing very well. The area at Trelde has been loaded with garfish and on a light flyrod they give some nice action. Also some nice fat seatrout have been caught in Vejle fjord. Lillebaelt has also been fishing quit well. Some nice Steel heads have been caught in the area around the bridges and also Gals klint has been fishing ok. At Kolding fjord fish up to 65 cm has been landed. So the coast line fishing is perfect now.
Kolding Fjord produced some nice fish well last week. I was fishing for the Salmon on Thursday in Skjern å, I saw 2 salmon turning but nothing else happened. Sunday evening I fished with Kasper in Vejle å. This was our first trip of the season. Kasper was fishing with the Rapala and I was fishing with the fly. Kasper had one very big seatrout following the Rapala but it turned away when he lifted the Rapala of the water. Otherwise nothing happened, but it's certain that the first fish start migrating towards the river again. Some fish up to 5,1 kilo have been caught the last few days.
Kasper is in deep doubt: What should I tie on... Tight Lines! Jesper - info@fish-outdoor.dk - terug -
