Week 13Week 13 – Spring has finally arrived!

By Jesper Havshøi – Fish and Outdoor - Fredericia

Hello everyone! After a long cold and grey winter the spring has finally arrived in Denmark! Temperature is rising and it is time to get out to the coastline now.

This week started with cold and rainy weather but ended with more than 10 degrees and sunny conditions.

During the week some nice fish have been caught along the coastline here in the area.

I was fishing together with Thomas on Sunday. We went out in the belly boats, hunting the seatrouts. We saw 6-7 fish in the surface but none of them showed any interest in our flies.

By the way: it is not a god idea to cast the fly into to the belly boat when you are 300 meters away from the coast…

With the weather we have now, I expect the fishing to get better and better for the weeks to come. So there is only one thing to say: “gentlemen, start your engines, grab your gear and get up here!”

Start your engines!

Temperature is rising!

I wish all of you a great season with lots of fish. Hope to see some of you up here.

Tight Lines!
